"C'mon Kenz, wake up." Jakk sat on the edge of the six year old's bed gently shaking his shoulder. She grunted and stuffed her face deep in the light pink pillow. "Five more minutesss" she huffed with a smothered voice. He chuckled placing a hand on her back. "I've gotta get to work, which means we've got to get you up and dressed and at the Nanny's house. You've got about ten minutes to get up and pick an outfit, or little miss I'm picking it for you." With that said, the little girl rolled over and glared at him. "Daddy you have NO idea what looks good on a little girl." He grinned. "Then you'd better take care of yourself or you'll be going to Nanny's in a clown suit."
Jakk left her room and headed downstairs to the kitchen where he opened up the cabinets pulled out the s'mores poparts, which happened to be the favorite of both residents in the house. He stuck a package in the toaster, looked himself over in the full length mirror in the hall, adjusted his tie and nodded in satisfaction. Today would be the shoot for TV land's cover and it was bound to be interesting. All he'd heard about it so far was that it was important, he needed to wear a suit, and to make sure he had a sitter for Kenzie.
------------ After dropping off Kenz he arrived on set, precisely on time and turned the corner just as his boss was about to check his watch. "You're king at perfect timing" the man said with a stern look. Jakk nodded with a sheepish grin as he followed the man down past some shoots already in session with other TV faces. He was directed to the right where he spotted a cute dirty blond with her hand on her hip. She was busy talking to some big-shot who thought his left side was his best and was offended that she wanted him to show his right. Jakk chuckled under his breath, celebrities, what a joke.
"And that's TIME" a voice yelled and the Left-side guy walked away with a scowl, slinging a bag strap over his right shoulder before stomping out like a six year old. No, Jakk's six year old was better behaved than that. In a moment he was shooed onto the set and shoved towards the woman. "Hi there, I'm Jakkson Archer are you my photographer for the day?" he asked with a grin, extending his hand for a proper handshake. Even if for no other reason, today was bound to go well because he had a gorgeous girl standing before him taking his picture. A bit of eye candy could go a long way.

Elle blew a loose strand of hair out of her face, the only piece of hair that escaped from her studded hairband. She fingered her camera and snapped on the attached focus lens before reaching her hand out to receive the handshake, given to her by her client, the oh-so adorable TV show host, Jakkson Archer. He gave her a cute grin and introduced himself.
"You got it. Elle Rohman, very nice to meet you, Mr. Archer," She shook his hand, returning his blue eyed gaze. "Now do you have a preferred side? Because, truthfully, I am loving the straight on look," She balanced on one foot, rubbing the back of her calf with the other. She picked up her camera, the newest Olympus series and focused the lens. She asked one of the set crew to move the lights a bit and looked right into camera, changing the focus and zoomed up on Jakkson Archer's face.
After taking pictures of a ruddy stuck up who refused to move, forcing her to take awful pictures, someone of this stature was a pleasure to shoot.

"You got it. Elle Rohman, very nice to meet you, Mr. Archer," She shook his hand, returning his blue eyed gaze. "Now do you have a preferred side? Because, truthfully, I am loving the straight on look," He chuckled and shook his head. "Not in the least, I'm your figure, pose me as you wish." he nodded letting her take control and complete direction of the situation. he actually found the left-side man rather amusing. Could someone be so adamant about such a stupid subject..really? If she was the photographer then he trusted her to do her job and make him look good.
She instructed him on set and zoomed in, capturing his face in proper lighting. He did as she told him, be it, tilt down, right, left, whatever. He was no pro model, and definitely not a photographer but he respected both lines of work. This girl could've easily done both. She was thin, pretty, and seemed to have a friendly attitude towards her clients..unless of course they were stupid like the last fellow.
In all reality, he respected work in general. He couldn't stand seeing people standing on street corners with signs begging for money. It's not like he's cold hearted, but people are all in the same boat of life and they need to work for what they have like he did.
With grin he took the shoot for what it was. Another pay check, a magazine cover, publicity for his show, and possibly a new toy to spoil his daughter with.

Elle bit her lip as she took the last frame. The lighting was perfect, she had him gaze off into the upper distance a small smile played on his lips. A plain backdrop was behind him and a small bathing light cast a small shadow behind him. It gave him a posture of 'looking to the future and leaving the bad behind'. In her mind, very effective and very popular. It fit well for his TV personality, someone that her friends had dubbed 'Hotter Dr. Phil'.
She looked up at him for a moment, imagining a more grand set, possibly something on the set of the show, or even something more candid, on the beach, with the water the same color as his eyes with the sun grazing his hair, lighting it up like a golden Christmas tree.... But that wouldn't be professional at all.
She took a minute to quickly run though the other mass of frames taken, full body poses, profile shots, close ups. His eyes seemed incredibly blue in all of them. The simple back drop allowed his smooth features to sharpen and be brought out in contrast. She couln not wait to hand them over to the editor and see what magic came out of it.
She pulled the small card out of the camera and placed it in the pockets of her short khaki cargo shorts and pulled her black leather camera bag off of the ground and around her shoulder, a few of her necklaces jingled as she walked forward.
"I say, Mr. Archer, it was definitely a pleasure working with you. You are incredibly photogenic." She smiled. "I can tell you with funn honesty that you have no bad side."

He smiled, a toothy white smile as she complimented him. With a nod he responded. " I'm sure you would be too, tell me you've been on the other side of the camera as well?" he asked, hoping she'd say yes, she had been a model. "I've never really done anything like that and this is the first actual shoot for something. I mean sure people take my picture from time to time but my boss insisted I come for a shoot, and TV land wanted me on their cover." he nodded.
The shoot was done and over with in about an hours time and for his taste it went all too quickly. As she began packing up her gear and his boss exited the room he got a playful smirk on his lips and trotted over to her. "Say, what're you doing in...about thirty minutes?" He asked forwardly. "We are set right on the pier and there's a pretty awesome Farris Wheel just on the other side of this building at the amusement park." he offered, "of course, it'll all be on me, unless you've got some other clients you've gotta take care of..." he asked.
He glanced down at his watch, he had about three hours of free time to kill before he was to go pick up K.M. and take her home. Three hours he could spend with a girl his own age where he could have a conversation that wasn't about unicorns and sparkle ponies. Although he loved that too, a step into adult reality would do him some good. By no means did he consider himself an expert on kids, but he was doing pretty well or so he thought. It had been a good two years with his angel and he'd come a long way.

...tell me you've been on the other side of the camera as well? Elle giggled. That brought back the memories... "Well, never professionally," she walked backwards with a devious grin stuck on her face. This guy sure was charming, and or course, it totally helped that he was cute.
"Alright boys, that's a wrap!" She shouted to the stage crew, few set out sighs of releif. While his particular shoot was fairly short, as Elle was able to get the perfect pictures in such a small timeframe, the rest of the clients before that had made the morning long and hard. She put her camera bag next to some other equipment for the time being while she planned on helping pack up. She knelt as she disassembled a flash light when Jakkson came up to her.
Say, what're you doing in...about thirty minutes?" he asked her, very straightforward of him, she noted. He mentioned the Ferris Wheel on the pier that they were on, and he even offered to take car of everything. Elle snapped the buckles of the light case and stood up, looking at her watch. Her wrist was a jungle of bangles, rope bracelets and a thick strapped watch. It was old and dead, and the hands pointed to eleven twenty-six at night. She figured she should replace the battery soon. Elle looked back up at him and smiled widely, brushing the same stray strand of hair out of her face
"This was my last shoot of the day. So.... yeah, I'm free. Just what do you have in mind?"

"Alright boys, that's a wrap!" people began cleaning up and packing up the light systems. When he asked Elle what she was doing later she added that it was her last shoot and she was indeed free for the day."This was my last shoot of the day. So.... yeah, I'm free. Just what do you have in mind?" He smiled. "The little amusement park just around the outside could be a lot of fun." he repeated. "That's what I've got in mind. Unless fo course you won't ride a roller coaster with me," he smirked, obviously teasing.
"It's only a couple yards away, so we could walk and come back for our cars when were done. The small walk could be nice to..I dunno, get to know echother a little bit. What do you think?" he asked. They could get all the little things out of the way and answered, like favorite food, favorite color, least favorites too. The little things that were oh so important for future refrence.
Our reaction to color is instantaneous, as silly as it could seem, a favorite color could help you tell a lot about a person.Blue is the overwhelming "favorite color." Blue is seen as trustworthy, dependable and committed. The color of sky and the ocean, blue is perceived as a constant in our lives.Yellow shines with optimism, enlightenment, and happiness. Shades of golden yellow carry the promise of a positive future. Yellow will advance from surrounding colors and instill optimism and energy, as well as spark creative thoughts.
Jakkson's own favorite happened to be red.Red has more personal associations than any other color. Recognized as a stimulant red is inherently exciting and the amount of red is directly related to the level of energy perceived. Red draws attention and a keen use of red as an accent can immediately focus attention on a particular element. The things associated with it worked well in his profession and in every day life.

Unless of course you won't ride a roller coaster with me...It's only a couple yards away, so we could walk and come back for our cars when were done. The small walk could be nice to... I dunno, get to know each other a little bit. What do you think?" Elle loved the idea. Sure, it was usually frowned upon to go out with a client on non-work related terms, but who could pass up this opportunity. not to mention the fact that she loved the pier, it had been so long since she even stepped into the park, and how perfect was it that she gets to go with an extremely hot guy who asked her first.
Elle looked down at what she was wearing, khaki shorts, a dark tank with beaded necklaces and matching bangles. Something she just threw on as yet again she woke up late, almost missing the first shoot of the day, her hair was just thrown back, occasionally falling down and framing her face. Then, she took another look at him, crisp, clean, adorable smile, well put together, eyes that were incredibly intense.
Her mother would love him.
She pushed that thought as far in the back of her mind as possible. This was business, she didn't know what he was really like and she hated, even refused the thought of sabotaging this on a gut feeling. Luckily, she had a great time just looking at him, and that one, distracting though vanished with the seemingly familiar spark in his eye, something… absolutely enticing. “I think… that would be a great idea, I love roller coasters. Just a question, though? You plan on wearing the suit to the park?”

“I think… that would be a great idea, I love roller coasters. Just a question, though? You plan on wearing the suit to the park?” Elle asked looking him over once. He chucked and shook his head. With that the man unbuttoned his jacket and took it off draping it over his arm and unbuttoned his dress shirt revealing a light blue wife beater. He untucked it and looked down at himself. "I have a pair of cargo shorts in the car I could stop by for." He nodded, "You're right though, a suit would be a little uncomfortable on a roller coaster."
The room was cleared out and the janitors walked in, "I think that's our cue to leave" he smirked, heading out the door they'd entered through. "Gimme just a sec, and I'll meet you out front" he added with a cheerful smile and with that he was off around the corner, out the exit and down the steps towards the parking lot to find his car. He found it with the help of the clicker attached to his keys and dug around in the back seat until he found his pair of cargo shorts that were folded and hidden under the left seat. he hopped in, quickly switched into those and relocked up the car before finding her out front.
"Ready for a stroll on the pier?" he asked in a friendly tone. Who knew, it could be fun.The beautiful Santa Monica Pier offered a variety of entertainment, dining and shopping experiences, including the thrill rides of Pacific Park; a historic 1922 Carousel, and an interactive aquarium. While you took a stroll through the planks of the Pier, you could enjoy lively street performers — from musicians to artists plus fabulous vendor carts and they'd be sure not to miss some of the best sunsets along the California coast....or so it was said by all the commercials on the tv

Jakkson looked down at his suit, smiled and started to undress. revealing something more casual underneath. Subconsciously, she found herself telling him not to stop. He told her he had some shorts in his car that he could change into. He asked Elle to meet him out in front afterward. The janitors seemed to be kicking them out, so she left, walking outside in long strides and let herself lean against the walls of the studio building.
The sun was beaming, hot rays touched her bare skin. It was a beautiful day. She would have to go running later, it was going to be a beautiful night by the way the day was going. She could hear the busy noise of the pier from here, the laughter, the excitement that was only just starting. Suddenly, her phone buzzed, and she pulled the Droid out of her pocket, since she never did carry a purse. It shuffled violently in her hand, and the caller id lit up in a familiar and unwelcome number. It was the last thing that she needed, something high pitched and whiny to ruin her day. She temped to answer it, but her fingers automatically ran over the ignore button faster that she could comprehend, and the number faded into nothing. Elle shoved the phone back into her pocket and traded it for her camera, her new toy. Elle returned to her relaxed leaning on the wall and closed her eyes. She soaked up the suns rays for a few minute before she opened her eyes to a friendly voice.
You ready for a stroll on the pier? Jakkson asked her as he came up. Elle smiled stood up straight and rubbed the back of her calf with her other foot.
"Absolutely," She bit her bottom lip. He looked great. Elle took out her camera, a sleek Sony Cyber-Shot, and caught a shot of his unsuspecting face, cute and a tab oblivious. "I'm gonna warn you though, I love cotton candy and tend to get a little crazy on sugar."
