open your google search page. type in miley cyrus. or selena gomez. or taylor swift. or robert pattinson. i bet you on the very first page of images you'll find a picture of that hot celebrity carrying a starbucks drink. celebrity's love starbucks, so do trendy teens, so do adults. here in santa monica, we don't have a starbucks. those are vastly overrated. instead we have common grounds, owned and operated by that sexy maximus golightly. it's more than a crowded cafe that serves you iced coffee and sends you on your way. it's a place to hang out, to feed your caffeine addiction, for you to eat, or meet your friends to watch local bands play or share a desert.

remember when i told you that santa monica was just like any other town? just turn up the temperature a good twenty degrees? well santa monica high school is around forty degrees hotter. i don't mean that literally, you idiot, our air conditioning works just fine. our student body's hot and so are student bodies. our band, our athletic department, our academics. that's right, we manage to make plume's and high gpa's hot, too. you get the point, right? our school colors are gold and green. we're gold and you're green with envy.

everyone lives somewhere. well, unless you're homeless, but if you are you're not the sort of person i'm thinking about. whether you live in an apartment building, a condo, a mansion, or a trailer (ew), you'll find your living quarters here.
